Three Generations in Fort St John

The Haab family has been in Fort St. John since the mid 1940's. Historically established in the agriculture and aviation industries, The Haab's have been a strong local community presence for over 60 years. Having roots planted firmly in the community gives HCL access to local contacts and connections that team together to resolve any and all challenges.

The first of six siblings and father of eight children, HCL owner, Mike Haab branched out into the trucking and construction industry in 2006.

Since then Haab Contracting Limited - HCL- has grown exponentially and contributes to the booming Fort St John economy creating jobs and supporting industries ranging from Oil field service to the booming residential construction industry.

Our Drivers

HCL has an extremely experienced and diverse crew of truck drivers with experience in heavy haul, long haul, logging and local construction service. All HCL driver’s duty times are held in compliance with ELD logs.

Safety

HCL takes safety seriously! Each HCL crew has daily, documented safety meetings outlining past and present safety risks that may be encountered in the day's jobs. HCL is COR, ISN and Comply Works certified.

First Aid

HCL crews include at least one Class 1 First Aid certified worker on all job sites.
